Directions: Your group will use the Nile River Power Point created by Element students in History class to research (6) six Topical Questions** related to Ancient Egypt. Your group responses will be in several forms:

·        (2) 200-word “Quote” sandwiches, citing a minimum of (3) sources (websites, texts etc.; NOT Google or Metacrawler!)  

·        (1) Study Tree – Research and complete the chart

·        (1) Sequence Chart –

Explain the origin and evolution in the building of pyramids. 

·         (1) 3-Way Compare & Contrast Venn Diagram – How were the different groups in Egyptian society similar and different?

·        (1) Trait Chart of an important Pharaoh

**All answers must include a detailed, complete Research Graphic Organizer to be accepted.

 

***For each completed Topical Question that earns a “3” or better grade, your group will get (1) Pyramid building block.

5.    Complete a 3-Way Compare & Contrast Venn diagram – What were 3 of the social classes in Ancient Egypt and how were they similar? Different?

 

6.    Complete a Sequence Chart detailing how the construction of pyramids developed and evolved over the centuries and why. Must include dates!
