Video: Children of Abraham - Part 2

This series explores the common religious heritage of Muslims, Jews and Christians. The Patriarch Abraham/Ibrahim is the central figure in the attempt to find common beliefs and understandings which might allow some tolerance of each other and even some unity of purpose. Part 2 explores areas both physical and spiritual that cause division and allow tolerance and cooperation among the three religions that share and dispute possession of sacred areas of Jerusalem. Students of Middle Eastern History would find this an invaluable introduction to the conflict that still rages today. Students of religion would also find this a challenging analysis of some of the world’s major faiths and their relation to, and with, each other.
