Quest For the Lost Pharaoh brings to life a long lost pharaoh from the 6th dynasty, through the work of French archaeologist Vassil Dobrev. Over the course of 3,000 years, 30 dynasties of 300 pharaohs built one of humankind's most fascinating civilizations – Ancient Egypt. The legacies of most of these rulers are well-documented. But surprisingly little is known about one group of pharaohs from the period known as the Old Kingdom. Four kings from the 6th dynasty are thought to be "missing persons" on the royal burial grounds of Saqqara; their graves have never been found. Has history forgotten them? Dobrev pursues clues that will allow him to prove the existence of one of these pharaohs and the necropolis of the Old Kingdom. (1 Hour)
